R8 knitting technology provides incredible strength, excellent "laying", cylindrical cross-section and excellent density in the yarn. Its name derives from its "recipe", 8 fibers (7 Dyneema® Plus and 1 Gore® Performance) and 32 knits per inch. Gore Performance fiber eliminates friction between the 7 Dyneema fibers, reducing stress and increasing its knot strength up to 30 times more. As a result, it remains in excellent condition compared to other yarns, which under the same conditions were almost damaged. It also increases the length and accuracy of the shots, reducing the vibrations.
